About Veho

Veho’s mission is to power the future of commerce by making shopping, shipping and returns seamless for everyone.
We are building a modern, end-to-end logistics infrastructure designed entirely for the ever-evolving needs of ecommerce brands and everyday consumers.
Powered by next-generation technology and a vertically integrated supply chain, Veho gives brands and their customers unprecedented control over their deliveries and removes the pain from the ecommerce post-purchase experience. We make delivery the ‘extension of the brand’ and leverage it to create deeper loyalty and trust between brands and their customers, driving customer retention and lifetime value. Our rapidly growing client list includes leading consumer brands like Hello Fresh, Zara, Macy’s, Sephora, and more.
To truly build an iconic company, we strongly believe that our people and values must be aligned with our mission. As such, we take pride in our championship team, merit-based culture. We seek team players who want to compete, win, make an impact and build a legacy, and we reward performance and impact players with generous equity and incredible career growth opportunities.
About the Role: Logistics Manager (Carrier & Vendor Performance)
As a Logistics Manager specializing in Carrier & Vendor Performance at Veho, you will be the primary architect and auditor of our external transportation ecosystem. Reporting directly to the Director of Transportation, you will transition our logistics function from a reactive service to a proactive, performance-driven powerhouse.
Your mission is twofold: strategic sourcing of the best partners in the industry and the relentless management of vendor and carrier accountability. You will own the partner lifecycle—from the first RFP to the Monthly Business Review (MBR)—ensuring that our multi-complex transportation strategies are executed with precision, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
The Ideal Candidate
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in logistics, with a heavy emphasis on carrier procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
  • Performance Management Expert: Proven track record of developing comprehensive scorecards and managing underperforming partners through formal contract performance review.
  • Strategic Thinker: Experience designing and implementing multi-complex transportation strategies that integrate various tiers of providers and service levels to optimize a national footprint.
  • Negotiation Power: Expertise in sourcing, vetting, and high-stakes rate negotiations across a diverse array of service models and logistics vendors.
  • Compliance Fluency: Deep understanding of DOT regulations, safety ratings, and insurance requirements (Cargo, GL, Auto) for both carriers and brokers.
  • Analytical Rigor: Advanced skills in Google Sheets/Excel to perform "Deep Dives" into network-level data, vendor spend, and service trends.
  • Leadership: Experience in leading and developing a team of specialists focused on network health.
What You’ll Do
  • Strategic Sourcing & Onboarding: Actively source, vet, and onboard a diverse portfolio of carriers, brokers, and logistics vendors. Build a "bench" of high-quality capacity to support Veho’s rapid expansion.
  • Execute Multi-Complex Transportation Strategies: Design and manage sophisticated routing and capacity plans that leverage diverse provider types to ensure seamless package flow across a high-growth network.
  • Drive Vendor & Carrier Accountability: Design and implement a robust Performance Management Framework. Track and hold all partners accountable to specific KPIs, including On-Time Performance (OTP).
  • Lead Strategic Business Reviews: Facilitate Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (MBRs/QBRs) with key vendors and carriers to discuss performance trends, address systemic service failures, and align on future growth.
  • Network Optimization: Proactively identify "at-risk" segments within the transportation strategy. Perform root-cause analysis on service issues and implement timely resolutions, including re-sourcing capacity when a partner fails to meet standards.
  • Manage Compliance & Risk: Oversee a rigorous vetting process (NDAs, RFIs, DOT safety scores) to ensure all partners consistently exceed our safety, security, and insurance requirements.
  • Cost & Contract Management: Build a comprehensive partner database to support competitive bidding (RFPs). Ensure transportation optionality to drive down costs while maintaining high service reliability and performance standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Ground Ops, Finance, and Expansion teams to ensure vendor capabilities and carrier capacity align with real-time customer needs.
Compensation:
$95,000-$100,000 annually
The pay range is subject to the discretion of the Company. Additionally, Veho offers a competitive equity package, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage as well as other benefits such as 401k and unlimited PTO for exempt-level roles.
Veho is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it. No matter the location, or the role, every Veho teammate shares one galvanizing mission: driving commerce forward with a customer-centric delivery and returns experience that’s built for the modern era. We are deeply value-driven (Team Up, Drive Impact, Take Ownership, Solve Bigger, Obsess Over Experience, Make Today Count) and care tremendously about investing in our high-performers.
Join us in building the future of ecommerce logistics and in doing the work of our lifetime!
