About Veho
Veho’s mission is to power the future of commerce by making shopping, shipping and returns seamless for everyone.
We are building a modern, end-to-end logistics infrastructure designed entirely for the ever-evolving needs of ecommerce brands and everyday consumers.
Powered by next-generation technology and a vertically integrated supply chain, Veho gives brands and their customers unprecedented control over their deliveries and removes the pain from the ecommerce post-purchase experience. We make delivery the ‘extension of the brand’ and leverage it to create deeper loyalty and trust between brands and their customers, driving customer retention and lifetime value. Our rapidly growing client list includes leading consumer brands like Hello Fresh, Zara, Macy’s, Sephora, and more.
To truly build an iconic company, we strongly believe that our people and values must be aligned with our mission. As such, we take pride in our championship team, merit-based culture. We seek team players who want to compete, win, make an impact and build a legacy, and we reward performance and impact players with generous equity and incredible career growth opportunities.
About Veho
Veho is on a mission to revolutionize the post-purchase experience. We’re building a new, end-to-end logistics infrastructure—from middle mile to last mile—powered by tech that puts customers first. By removing the pain points in delivery and returns, Veho creates deeper loyalty and trust between brands and their customers. Our rapidly growing client list includes leading consumer brands like Hello Fresh, Zara, Macy’s, Sephora, and more.
We’re proud of our championship team, our best-in-class benefits, and the chance for every team member to share in our success through equity. Whether you work at one of our facilities or remotely, at Veho you’ll join a mission-driven team that’s transforming logistics—and having a lot of fun along the way.
About The Role:
Veho is seeking a high-impact, execution-driven Vice President of Ground Operations to lead and scale our national facility network as we grow to more than 5M+ packages per week. This executive will be accountable for daily operational excellence, delivering safety, throughput, cost, and quality across our hub-and-spoke footprint. The VP will build discipline, simplify execution, and own the operational levers that drive profitability, customer satisfaction, and cost reduction.
This is a critical leadership hire that provides leverage to the SVP of Operations, strengthens our ability to support market expansion, and levels up talent across Ground Ops. The VP will be both strategic and on-the-ground, expected to inspect what they expect, drive standards, and hold leaders accountable to results.
For this role, we ask that someone reside in Dallas.
What you’ll do:
Network Operations Performance
- Own daily performance outcomes across all hub and spoke markets: safety, sortation throughput, scan compliance, restitution rate, and on-time launch and delivery
- Manage and coach Sr. Directors and Regional leaders to deliver against safety, cost, service, and quality metrics
- Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain Optimization, Commercial, Network & Expansion, and Engineering & Product teams to enable tool adoption and throughput improvements
Operational Standardization
- Instill a high-performance, high-accountability operating rhythm across sites
- Drive disciplined use of labor planning, sort schedules, and quality routines
- Ensure the field adheres to 5S, safety protocols, and standard work systems
Labor Model Optimization
- Work closely with Learning & Development, Operations Leaders, and temp staffing vendors to execute labor strategy
- Ensure site leaders are forecasting, scheduling, and flexing labor appropriately
- Oversee the rollout of best practices to reduce cost per unit and improve consistency
Expansion & Site Readiness
- Serve as the operational readiness owner for market launches and facility expansions
- Support new building transitions and partner with the Program Management on go-lives
- Drive operational integration and training for new Sr. Directors or site leaders
Leadership & Talent Development
- Up-level site leadership across markets — push under performers, grow high-potential talent
- Elevate the performance of all direct reports, while mentoring new leaders
- Create succession depth, prepare teams for scale, and lead with urgency
Collaboration & Reporting
- Partner with Supply Chain Optimization on throughput planning and MHE scaling
- Partner with Program Management and Engineering on pilots, experiments, and go-lives
- Report weekly on performance trends, outliers, and mitigation plans
What You Bring:
- 10–15+ years leading large-scale logistics or parcel operations in a multi-site network (e.g. Amazon, FedEx, UPS, Target, Walmart, GXO, etc.)
- Strong track record of driving execution excellence: improving UPH, reducing cost per unit, launching new sites, and improving quality KPIs
- Experience managing a team of leaders across regions with full P&L accountability
- Operational leader who gets in the weeds, visits sites, and coaches for performance
- Experience rolling out operational playbooks, implementing automation/MHE, and partnering with labor providers or temp agencies
- Bias for action, high standards, low ego, strong follow-through
- Can scale with the business while keeping execution tight
