How you'll make an impact

Our Business Systems Manager, Finance will shape the financial systems landscape at SonderMind and lead projects to enable financial and accounting controls, automation, and integration. This is a hands-on position that requires systems support.You will be responsible for partnering with various stakeholders to enhance and improve our Finance environment, roll out new tools, perform ongoing maintenance, provide daily support to our FP&A and Accounting teams in addition to leading future improvements and integration projects. You will be a subject matter expert in all aspects of NetSuite, Stripe, Ramp and other tools.

What you'll do

• Support the Accounting & Finance teams by building and maintaining systems to support new and existing finance processes, including implementing and maintaining customizations of systems to meet evolving business needs
• Be responsible for data integration between finance systems and monitor data flows to ensure data is timely and accurate
• Implement high security standards, including setting and monitoring user roles and permissions
• Assist with system integration and functionality issues including engaging with vendor support for defect resolution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build necessary data infrastructure
• Leverage business process knowledge and expertise in finance and accounting to drive business process improvements
• Document and maintain current and new system process flows
• Develop, document and implement policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure data integrity, change protocols, customization and usage
• Responsible for the change management and release process for finance systems
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of finance systems functionality, customization and integration

What you'll bring with you

Required Experience

• Supporting financial systems within a high-growth business (tech or otherwise)
• Advanced understanding of NetSuite with Netsuite certifications
• Experience leading financial system integration projects
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills - you are comfortable diving into large, complex datasets
• High attention to detail
• Ability to balance multiple projects and prioritize competing business needs while delivering consistently high quality and timely work
• Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience

• Financial systems work for a publicly traded company
• Familiarity supporting one or more of the following (or similar): Stripe, Ramp, FloQast
• Financial auditing experience
• Financial compliance experience
• Experience in the Healthcare industry

Our Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this role is $108,000- $125,000. This role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and variable bonus plan. Actual title and compensation is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
