ABOUT THE POSITION
As an Account Executive, Migration & Refugee Specialist, you will engage in activities related to developing new business opportunities that drive the company's growth. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Client Development, you will be responsible for identifying, managing, and closing new business across medium and large non profit or government run organizations. You are an experienced individual contributor with a roll-your-sleeves-up approach. To drive towards success you will foster a strategic approach to selling, a deep understanding of Jeenie’s product, and an entrepreneurial attitude. You are not afraid to work collaboratively and take on the responsibility of driving customer acquisition.
ABOUT SUCCESS IN THE POSITION
Some of the main initiatives you’ll be part of:
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets, and build new revenue streams through net new customer growth across Migration & Refugee markets.
- Responsible for selling both Jeenie’s platform, as well as linguist services.
- Play a key, and leading role in prospecting, supporting sales and marketing programs, RFP’s, and other customer requirements to drive sales.
- Adopt a consultative and analytical sales approach.
- Development and manage sales cycles and forecasts to track and manage pipeline activity in Jeenie’s CRM, and track sales activity against assigned quotas.
- Have an understanding, and ability to influence customer’s decision-making process.
- Perform sales presentations and demonstrations to match products with identified needs.
- Engage with multiple stakeholders and understand who will be most crucial in closing the contract.
ABOUT YOU
Here’s what we believe our best applicants bring with them into the role:
- Proven track record with 5+ years of sales experience in Language Interpretation, Non-Profit, Government, or a combination of these industries.
- Strong "hunter" mentality, with a focus on identifying and closing new business opportunities.
- Skilled in building and managing sales pipelines, with the ability to position opportunities for successful closures.
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Adept at engaging and collaborating with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Independent, entrepreneurial thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment.
- Hands-on experience with grant money allocation, including navigating funding processes and leveraging grants to support program or service implementation.
- Excellent presentation skills, business writing expertise, and oral communication abilities.
- Naturally curious, with a commitment to continuously improving knowledge of the industry, market trends, and competitors to maintain a competitive edge.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of effectively managing multiple priorities.
- Receptive to feedback and dedicated to leveraging it for personal and professional development.
- Willing and able to travel up to 25% as required.
