The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for leading and overseeing all program components within the scope of Jeenie’s linguistic data organization and creation. The PM is responsible for initiating and planning all projects, assigning, and managing resources required to perform and/or deliver quality services. The PM will oversee the work of all linguists working on corpus creation, monitoring productivity and ensuring quality performance of all contract personnel while also maintaining a close and professional working relationship with our clients.

ABOUT SUCCESS IN THE POSITION
Some of the main initiatives you’ll be part of:

• Execute, monitor, and oversee the contractor linguists working on corporate projects, ensuring that personnel are performing to the SOW. These tasks include:

• Scheduling linguist training sessions

• Assigning translation tasks to linguists

• Coordinating linguist pair meeting times

• Compiling translated transcripts and assign to pairs

• Monitoring progress across all tasks and clients

• Ensuring validation is carried out within a timely manner

• Provide a weekly status to team leadership, as well as to individual clients.

• Interface regularly via one-on-one, phone, email, and/or teleconferences as appropriate to promote open, two-way communication with contractor linguists and clients.

• Perform on-going quality and productivity reviews using the production logs, quality audits, training surveys, and feedback provided from the contractor linguists.

• Edit medical interactions to make them more human readable.

• Label medical interactions based on their topic.

• Provide regular feedback to linguists concerning their actual performance compared to standards and specifically address those linguists who are not meeting the standards.

• Prepare reports and/ or presentations and presents results to senior leaders, managers, clients, professional organizations.

• Constant monitoring of the queue to ensure adequate linguist coverage and deadlines met.

• Search the internet for realistic interactional data (from medical situations).

• Share metrics related to work completed and linguist attendance on a weekly basis.

• Timely respond to client inquiries.

ABOUT YOU
Here’s what we believe our best applicants bring with them into the role:

• Held a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

• In-depth knowledge of- and skill with- the Google Suite, especially Google Sheets

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience performing in the role of a Project Manager.

• Experience organizing and analyzing quantitative data sets (at scale)

• Experience working with some sort a workflow tool (ex, Asana, Trello, ClickUp, Jira)

• Possess strong oral and written communication skills

• Understanding of group dynamics and relationship management.

• Demonstrated experience and skills in planning, directing, and coordinating work activities

• Demonstrated experience engaging interculturally with peoples from diverse communities
