ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Linguist Experience [LX] Department is where the mission of Jeenie is actualized. LX is our most innovative and on-demand part of the business, matching interpreters with people in need. LX is multifaceted with a team of internal ops overseeing 1000s of interpreters globally. In case you didn’t pick up on it, LX is kind of a big deal. If you want to contribute to providing reliable and inclusive communication access for our clients, while supporting a community of talented interpreters you might have found your place here.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As our Operations and Support Specialist, you’ll be the face of Jeenie to hundreds, (no joke). Daily, you’ll interact across the full business spectrum from interpreters to clients to internal departments. A typical day includes creating relationships with interpreters located around the world, finding the right client-interpreter fit for appointments, ensuring incoming calls are fulfilled, and answering support tickets all the while creating the best work environment you can in LX. You’ll quickly become an expert on the languages we offer and will help Jeenie disrupt the traditional language services industry!

  • Become an expert in our call management systems and processes
  • Coordinate appointment requests from clients
  • Monitor supply and demand needs for on-demand calls
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients
  • Answer urgent requests from clients regarding appointments
  • Answer inbound support tickets from clients and interpreters
  • Assist other departments with language inquiries

ABOUT SUCCESS IN THE POSITION

ABOUT YOU

  • Deep Customer Service experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Working hours 10:00 am - 7:00 pm Eastern Time Zone
  • Fluent in conversational Spanish - written and verbal preferred
