We are looking for an experienced Golang developer to become a key member of our team. In this role, you will maintain and enhance a SaaS marketplace platform that specializes in real time, on demand, language interpretation. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving challenging problems, and is meticulous about producing clean code to drive the platform forward.

ABOUT SUCCESS IN THE POSITION
Some of the main initiatives you’ll be part of:

• Design, build, deploy, and iterate on new features and capabilities of the Jeenie platform

• Collaborate with product management, architecture and others to successfully execute projects either individually or in collaboration with other engineers

• Build fast and design for the future platform through architecting efficient and reusable components

• Own the quality of your deliverables through design, implementation and unit testing

• Ship code to production frequently

• Work as a member of a distributed remote team in an Agile / Kanban SDLC

ABOUT YOU
Here’s what we believe our best applicants bring with them into the role:

• Bachelors in Computer Science or related field and 3+ years software engineering experience required

• 1+ years of experience working with Golang and background with other back end languages and tools

• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and well developed practices around versioning and error handling

• Experience working in cloud based environments like GCP, AWS, or Azure

• Experience building data driven services on top of databases such as Postgres, MySQL, MariaDB, etc

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with web and mobile front end tools like Vue.JS or React Native

• Experience with analytics platforms and data pipelines like Looker Studio and DBT

• Experience with video platform api's like Zoom, Vonage, etc.
