ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

When you’re an organization that believes language is a basic human right, it’s easy enough to sell it. And while the mission can sell itself, it helps to have top talent relaying the message to potential clients. As a Product Led Growth organization, many of whom you speak with will already be a qualified lead because they’ve experimented with Jeenie. It’s up to Client Development  to close the deal and spread our impact. 

 

ABOUT THE POSITION

As the Director of Client Development you will engage in activities related to developing new business opportunities that drive the company's growth. Reporting to the Vice President of Growth, you will be responsible for identifying, managing, and closing new business across medium and large sized nonprofit or government run organizations. You are an experienced individual contributor with a roll-your-sleeves-up approach. To drive towards success you will foster a strategic approach to selling, a deep understanding of Jeenie’s product, and an energetic attitude. You are not afraid to work collaboratively and take on the responsibility of driving customer acquisition.

ABOUT SUCCESS IN THE POSITION
Some of the main initiatives you’ll be part of:

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets, and build new revenue streams through net new customer growth across healthcare’s mid/large markets

  • Responsible for selling both Jeenie’s platform, as well as linguist services

  • Play a key, and leading role in supporting sales and marketing programos, RFP’s, and other customer requirements to drive sales

  • Adopt a consultative and analytical sales approach

  • Development and manage sales cycles and forecasts to analyze and manage pipeline activity, and track sales activity against assigned quotas 

  • Have an understanding, and ability to influence customer’s decision-making process 

  • Perform sales presentations and demonstrations to match products with identified needs

 

ABOUT YOU
Here’s what we believe our best applicants bring with them into the role:

  • A sales background of 7+ years in Language Interpretation, Nonprofit, Government or a combination of all three

  • Hunter mentality

  • Experience building sales pipeline and positioning business to close

  • College/University degree

  • Comfortable working at all levels of an organization

  • Independent, entrepreneurial thinker, with good judgment skills, a proven track record in problem-solving

  • Excellent presentation skills, business writing skills, and oral communication skills

  • Curiosity to constantly look for ways to enhance your knowledge of our industry, market, and competitors to provide the sales edge needed to close business and generate revenue

  • You are detailed-oriented and well organized

  • You seek feedback at every opportunity so you can be the best you can be

  • Comfortable traveling up to 25%
