Job Title: Application Operations Engineer

About the Role: Working as a bridge between an organization’s engineering teams and our customers, Application Engineers set out to improve the overall functioning of the company software. Utilizing customer input, needs, and sales information, these engineers use this data to design, or re-design, then develop, test, and implement complex software applications and programs.They are the bridge between systems, engineers and other employees.

Responsibilities:

Develop apps & improve existing software:

• Design and improve software
• Perform needed evaluations to understand the unique goals of each project and then implement after careful assessment
• Plan and implement expansion projects for current software infrastructure
• Collaborate with the development team to integrate application components seamlessly

Make recommendations:

• Assess the current software and hardware inventory and determine where improvements can be made
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance application features

Document & inventory systems:

• Log all technical specifications required to keep systems at peak performance
• Document design decisions, coding standards, and application processes

About the Candidate:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Proven experience as an Application Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficient in programming languages such as SQL, C++, Python, etc.
• Hubspot experience a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with database systems and web development frameworks.
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and learn new tools quickly.
• Hands-on engineering or development experience
• Ability to develop and improve software applications
• Project management abilities
• Superior troubleshooting skills

Potential pay range: $90 - $110K
